Canang Making Demonstration (FREE)
Canang is the name of the rectangular shaped offerings filled with flowers that Balinese use to appease the Gods. Preparation of these offerings is a daily activity for local women and is seen as the ultimate act of devotion. They are made from a palm frond base filled with flower petals and other natural elements. Balinese Hinduism is all about maintaining balance between the physical, spiritual and invisible worlds, and this involves daily offerings.
Traditional Art Demonstration (Ata) (FREE)
Ata is a type of fern that grows on tall trees in the humid forests of Bali. Its roots are used to make different kinds of handicrafts such as tissue boxes, placemats and bags. These products are woven to incorporate dark geometric designs and are dried using the smoke of coconut fibers to create rich caramel colors.
Refreshing Walk (FREE)
This leisurely morning walk ventures through local farmland to see tropical fruits and rice terraces in the various stages of cultivation. Along the way there is also a traditional Hindu temple surrounded by some amazing scenery.

Traditional Art Demonstration (Lontar) (FREE)
Lontar is the name of a palm tree variety that grows in monsoon climates. It also refers to the palm-leaf strips that were once used like paper in ancient times by the Balinese to document local knowledge. Just like a book, lontar palm-leaf strips are bound between two narrow pieces of wood as a cover. Bali’s very first lontar scripts date back to the 13th century and often recorded traditional healing wisdoms. This demonstration teaches you how to write on lontar strips.

Balinese massage is a traditional therapy based on the island’s age-old healing heritage. Nowadays it is a popular way to unwind as it utilizes a combination of techniques including long strokes and applications of pressure to ease muscular tension. We’ll show you how to perform this type of massage as well as how to make a traditional body scrub called boreh whilst enjoying a refreshing cup of ginger tea.

Rice Paddy Trek

About half hour ride to Tenganan Village from the Resort, Tenganan is one of the Ancient village in Bali.
